Low Memory error on Android.

I have installed Airport City on my Android and it is not working properly. When I click on the icon of the game, I get a low memory message on the lower left corner of my screen. I'm on Android 4.1.2 with 512MB RAM. I meet the requirements of the game but it is not working fine. I get the low memory message while using other application too and sometimes, my tablet even restarts. How can I fix this error?

Low Memory error on Android.

When running many application at the same time, they consume the RAM of your device. Hence the more applications your run simultaneously, the more RAM is used. Consider your device RAM is 512, running various applications at the same time utilizes all the RAM hence the reason you receive low memory alert. To solve this, always close applications running at your background.
