Hi tech guys,

When I started my computer running under Windows XP professional, an error message appeared instantly, LogMeIn Guadrian generated an error,

Pasted below the error message for you reference.

LogMeIn Guadrian

LogMeIn Guardian has detected a problem with the LogMeIn

software installed on this machine.

Telling LogMeIn about this problem will help us deliver a solution faster.

An error report has been created that you can send to us.

This error report will be treated as anonymous and confidential.

When I see the message, I was so troubled being welcomed by bad news, since my last used my computer was properly shut down, that is why I am wondering, why this application generated an error, my approach to this issue is, I remove LogMeIn Guadrian and install it again, but same error message was displayed when I started my computer, I don't have any idea now on how to get rid for this error message,

Please help me guys solve my issue,

Thanks a lot.

First is try a deep scan on your system there might be some Trojan viruses and stuff that had got on your machine and corrupted LogMein that may help solve your problem. But I'm doing a research on the internet as well and here’s an information that I got. LogmeIn Guardian is an error reporting component, it’s purpose is to record and document several errors that come about in the software.

You can send directly the error to the Logmein development team, so they can give you all the information you need to resolve the error you encountered. As far as I know there while searching on the internet there is still no solution for this one, that is why you just have to send the report to the Logmein development team.

Hello Simon,

It could be possible that a virus checker program or maybe a firewall on the remote system is catching the remote operation and cutting off the connection, you to resolve the issue you will need to check the settings of the security applications that you have on your computer and add LogMeIn Guardian to exceptions if possible.

Note that LogMeIn Guardian is an error reporting component, and it is supposed to document or record any errors that occur in the LogMeIn software. It makes it possible for you to send the error directly to the development team, and also to give them all the information that is needed to resolve the error that you encountered.

Regards,

Carl

I don’t think the problem is with the LogMeIn Guardian application. I think what you need to reinstall is the main LogMeIn application. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it. Once installed, start Revo Uninstaller then select one of the LogMeIn applications and click “Uninstall”. Follow the normal uninstall process.

When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, repeat the same steps to uninstall the remaining LogMeIn application. When all LogMeIn applications have been removed, close Revo Uninstaller then download the free version of CCleaner and install it.

Once installed, start CCleaner and clean your system. When it is finished, close CCleaner and restart the computer. After booting, install LogMeIn back or download the latest LogMeIn Software and install it. Before installing, make sure your computer meets the requirements. The latest version at the moment supports Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10 both 32-bit and 64-bit.

If you want to convert CCleaner to Pro, download the codes and follow the instructions.
