I am trying to load pagemaker on a imac but I keep getting errors with the extension manager (e.g. AdobeTypeManager). It is also causing errors when trying to load the Microsoft office package. I have reinstalled numerous times with no result.

First of all, make sure you are trying to install the version of the software suitable for your imac. Also, you may want to check the minimum requirements to see if you meet them or not. While installing the software use the Administrator account and be sure that all permissions are fine. After the installation is complete, check the permissions again as this could easily be the solution for your problems.
