Hi. The steps to be followed so as to know how to automate Excel reports are as follows-

1) Using PivotTable make your report to summarize the data so as to identify the trends.

2) Open and close the report using Visual Basic script

3) To start the Visual Basic script, compose a batch script

4) To ensure that the output file is as it was created, write the batch script

5) Ensure that the desktop folder exists

6) Run the batch script sequentially even if someone is using the computer. Set the privilege to the highest setting possible.
