All uncertainty in an experiment is either due to random errors or due to systematic ones. Random errors are few statistical changes in the measured data because of the limitations in precision of the measuring device. These errors result from the experimenter’s inability to consider the measurement in the same way to achieve the exact same number.
In contrast to this, Systematic errors are reproducible errors that are consistently in a common direction. Systematic errors occur due to a fault which persists throughout the complete experiment.
