I am using Window 7- 32 bit on my Dell OptiPlex. I wish to upgrade ram for Dell OptiPlex 755 wherein currently I’m using 2GB ram and I wish to upgrade it to 4GB.
Is that possible?
Of course, it’s possible. Let me tell you about the upgrade. Basically, it combines with the specs. You will only have 3.5GB of RAM available to you using 32 bit windows, not 4GB. It’s just the way that the limitation on 32-bit Windows works. If your system came with a 64-bit processor and you upgraded to Windows 7 64 bit, then you would be able to use 8GB (7.5GB usable) on that system. Either way, good luck.
