I am a newbie blogger and have created an account in wordpress last month, the question now is how can I launch my website for others to view it? Is there such a thing as "launching a blog" or a blog will automatically be present in the web from the first posting I made? My blog posts are all in public mode (but it seems like no one is visiting my blog).
Please educate me more regarding this matter. Thanks a lot!
Launching a blog site in WordPress

You mentioned that you just set up your WordPress account and you wanted to have visitors on your blog site. There is an option for you to publicize your blogs on your social networking sites like Facebook or Twitter. First you need to log-in to your WordPress account. To link or synchronize your blogs to your Facebook account for instance, look for settings on your dashboard and select sharing. You would see icons of different sites namely; Facebook, twitter, yahoo and even linked-in and underneath the icons is a link that says connect to and the name of the site.
Select the first icon for Facebook and click on the link. A pop-up window will appear, simply click on authorize. If you are not logged-in to your Facebook account it would lead you to log-in page. Once you are logged-in a window will appear asking you to confirm or accept a WordPress application to be connected to your Facebook, simply click accept and you officially publicize your WordPress account. The blogs that you will be writing will automatically be posted on your Facebook wall and it would be accessible to your friends. If they like the content they might share it as well.
