Laptop Touchpad Lock, Not Working.

I bought a new laptop about a month ago, but now I've realized that its Touchpad Lock is not working. I didn't notice it earlier because I didn't work on MS Word & Excel applications, but now when I'm working on them, it is very annoying, when the mouse jumps in the middle of the screen, while writing something.

The Touchpad Lock for my laptop work the following way. But nothing happens, while I Double Tap the Lock Area.

I would really appreciate if you solve this issue for me.

This is your original question. Touchpad Lock is not working.

I have a quick answer to this, try Press Fn + F2 but if this won’t work, the more rigid and detailed instructions.

See it for yourself;

dm3-1000 (Intel)

dm3-1000 (AMD)

dm3-2000 (AMD)

There you go!

Computer touchpad feature has it's own function to activate and deactivate. Different type of computer has it's own shortcut keys to enable touchpad.

Most computer uses Fn + F1-F12 keys on your keyboard to turn this thing on.

For Macbook computer, F2 is the press to activate
For Toshiba computer, try press F9 key if not, then Fn + F10 combined
For Acer computer, use F7
For Asus a combination of Fn + F3 on older version and Fn + F9 for new computer model.
For Dell, F7 combined with Fn to deactivate trackpad
For Gateway try Fn + F6 respectively.

These are the common combination shortcut keys to activate touchpad on your laptop. It's very annoying sometimes if you have no clue to activate but this simple steps will help you cool down and regenerate energy back.
