Laptop screen partial damage still working good

I was traveling in  bus and was carrying the laptop. I thought of using laptop and hence opened it and started to go through some help documents. The screen was super and fine till them. But due to a road block or something, I hit the laptop to the front seat. Suddenly entire display went off. I shut down the laptop. Later, at home I found that laptop was alright but some permanent black mark in lower bottom left. Can it be solved? Will the patch grow, I mean extend, become large in size? Is it safe to operate?

You can work in your laptop. The black dots you are seeing he screen is due to the dead pixels of the screen. As you mentioned it happened during the accident you met while operating time. May be you have hit that particular area of the screen.

Solution 1: Try to clean that area using a soft cloth. It will act like a massaging which sometimes will solve the problem.
