Language problem in the Laptop.
Hello Johansmith,
In changing the Korean language to English language to your operating system the best way with no hassle is to installed a newly operating system with English version. I suggest an operating system Windows XP pro why because drivers can easily be found. Before you proceed to install the operating system may we know what is brand and model of your laptop? So that we may give the right drivers of your laptop. If your laptop has included a drivers well it sounds good for getting reference in future installation of new operating system. Hope you have an idea on how to install operating system in your laptop, if none let us know so we can help.

If you have a lot of knowledge on how to access the regional setting by just looking at the icons and the interface of the computer. Then I suggest you install a language pack so that it will convert it to English. You need the installation CD to do this.
But it will be much easier to just simply install an operating system that is new and needs your hard disk to be reformatted. This way it is automatically set to English when the language is choose to English.
If what you mean is the BIOS setup, then I suggest that you ask someone that knows how to read Korean language or someone that knows your BIOS setup and have them change you BIOS language to English.

If the operating system installed on the laptop is in a different language not English, unfortunately, there is no easy way to revert to the English language. You have to ask someone who knows how to read the language used on the computer to easily navigate in the options to change the language back to English.
To restore Microsoft Windows back to the English language, click “Start”, “Control Panel”, “Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options” then “Regional and Language Options”. In “Regional and Language Options” window, go to “Languages” tab and click “Details” under “Text services and input languages” section.
In “Text Services and Input Languages” window, in “Settings” tab, under “Default input language” section, select “English (United States) – US” from the dropdown list then click “OK”. That should restore the language back to English.
