Hi friends

I am using MAC OSX lion, and I tried to install Labview for LEGO mindstorm 2011 edition but the installation failed.

I got an error on my screen.

The screenshot of the error is attached below:

The message states:

The installation failed.

The installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance.

Any help to make this installation a success will be highly praised.

Hi,

This error is mainly prone appropriate to the installation crash of the NI-VISA and NI-GPIB drivers and it’s not LabVIEW itself. Mac OSX Lion boots in 64bit kernel mode through default, still these drivers merely support 32bit kernel. It is probable that LabVIEW has correctly installed, yet you might require restarting the computer to make use of the NI Example Finder or help system.

To make the installation successful choose the "Customize" command button prior to installing the software. Disable the NI GPIB and NI VISA Drivers. Complete the remnants of the install as standard.
