Subnet Mask 255.255.255.192 leaving you with 6 bits for host addressing in the network, takes 2 bits and 4th octet of the Network Address. The four networks with 62 hosts each are given you by the subnet mask 255.255.255.192. The binary host addresses with all ones and all zeros are not valid. So, the addresses with the last octet of 0, 63, 127, 191, or 255 cannot be used. For broadcasting, all other hosts will use the last address. Address with all zeros or one’s usage will be discouraged.
