Hey,

When I try to play a video file in the KMplayer, I get an error message. Getting a bid scared of this error message ‘containing error’. I downloaded it from the authorized website after reading the reviews. Is any problem with the player? Do I need to uninstall the player? Whether this player might damage my system? Totally confused, please help me to solve this error.

C:Windowssystem32URL.DLL is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.

If you updated Microsoft Windows then it is only appropriate to reinstall KMPlayer because it is very common to programs to generate errors every time the operating system is updated. If you still have your original installer, uninstall KMPlayer then click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and select Disk Cleanup.

Select drive C and click OK. Check “Temporary files”, click OK and then wait for it to finish. This will empty your computer of all temporary files. After that restart your computer and run your original installer again. See if KMPlayer works after reinstalling it. If it doesn’t, uninstall KMPlayer and then download the latest version from KMPlayer Version 3.8 Download.

Run the installer after the download and see if it works. KMPlayer 3.8 supports Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8. Also, for Windows Vista and Windows 7, it only supports x86.
