Recently I got a problem that all my JPG files are not working with normal windows photo viewer and I installed Picasa as well and that also has become corrupted. Would you suggest me on what to do please?
JPG file can’t opened and corrupted
Get a data JPG recovery program. There are many free trial programs that you can download and help you to repair and recover your corrupted photo’s .
Once you have a recovery file program, open your corrupted JPG file and click “open picture file”and then click the “Recovery Button”, you can usually find it on the lower right.
After processing your photos, recheck the image if it has been restored, if the JPG file is still corrupted, try another recovery program that is suited for JPG file.
Remember to always use back-ups for saving your files.

Try IrfanView program, it should open all your JPEG files.
When you’ve installed IrfanView, Click to any JPEG picture with right mouse click, choose “Open with”, go to “Choose default program…”, select IrfanView and tick box “Always use the selected program to open this kind of file”, click “Ok” button.
