Itunes iOS 5 update crash Issues

Hi,

Since last week I've been trying to update my iPhone 3GS to iOS 5 and the request is being timed out every time, hence I downloaded it manually from official Apple IOS Firmware for iPhone but in the middle of the download an error occurred & this resulted in my iTunes being stuck and cannot be restored.

Am sure it will update to a new version, but due to the time out the update was stopped, please Is there a way to make it work as a normal phone if so please provide me that solution.

Thank You.

If the download for your phone’s operating system doesn’t push through when doing it directly from your phone then try downloading the update using your computer through iTunes. If the iTunes application in your desktop doesn’t have problems in the system, your download should finish successfully.

But if it still can’t finish even when already using the computer, abort the download, restart the computer then try again. If still nothing happened on the next attempt, you should check your computer’s internet stability. Open any of your web browsers and try visiting some websites. Or just watch a streaming video to check if your internet connection is stable enough to handle a download.

If your connection is good and you are having this download problem, try uninstalling iTunes from your machine then check your computer for any possible errors.

Use a disk utility application to check the system. After the disk check, install iTunes again. Try downloading the update again after the installation. When the download is done, you can now install it on your phone and upgrade its operating system.
