Is it true that DAMO is actually compatible with Microsoft Office 2010? I‘m inquiring about it because IBM states Domino Access for Microsoft Outlook (DAMO) 8.0.2 IF6 is incompatible with Microsoft Office 2010 at the present moment.

(Refer https://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21460328). Would you be capable of revealing to me the form of DAMO that can operate with Office 2010? Your cooperation is significantly valued.

Hi Olivia Talley,

It’s nice that you are interested in being able to use DAMO with MS office 2010. The manufacturer is correct in that it is still not compatible with MS Office 2010 but they are aggressively making another patch.

There is actually a workaround in being able to use this: If you are interested, please try this:

***Install DAMO as per usual***

***Run MS outlook 2010 as an administrator – Right click the program and see the screenshot I posted below***

***The DAMO should start its setup and you will encounter it freezing while importing the files-this is part of the incompatibility, but rerun outlook as the administrator for a couple of times until the importing process completes***

Hope that helps!
