I am using MacPro running OS Maverix. My iPod clssic is not recognized by my Macbook since the last iTunes update. The iPod ejects automatically as I plug it in. Why is this so? What can be done to tackle this problem

The problem you are facing is either a hardware or a software problem.P lease make sure that the things below are alright:-
1. Check if your iPod USB cable is third party or not.
2. Make sure your Firewall isn't bolcking any of the software features.
3. Try to change the USB cable.
4. If necessary downgrade to the previous iTunes
