Hello janesprant,

This issue has something to do with adware/malware. It protects your computer from getting malware, visit this site for free download.

another good anti malware software, visit this site for free download.

It cleans temporary files. Or you can manually delete cookies, temporary Internet files, history , just follow this instruction:

Open your Internet Explorer>Select Tools and click on Internet options.

Then Choose the General tab and click delete and  this Window will open:

Check all if you want. Just make you have check cookies, temp files and history,  so check it.

Then click delete and OK.

You can also click on the help button for instructions(Just next to Tool Button).

Or you can try other good browser such as Mozilla and Google Chrome. You can also Uninstall Internet Explorer by just clicking on Control Panel>Add or Remove programs> or if your OS is Windows 7, Just go on All Programs, type in the search bar Turn Windows Features ON or Off, if this Window will come up, Uncheck on Internet Explorer then click OK.

Or  run  Network Diagnostics tool in Internet Explorer To do this, follow these steps:  Start Internet Explorer, and then try to access the Web page that is displaying the error message. On the page that displays an Internet Explorer error message, click the Diagnose Connection. Thank you.

Hello Jane,

To resolve that issue, you will need to do the following:

  • First, you will need to try clearing your browser cache, cookies as well as history.
  • To do that you will need to open your IE browser, and then click on Tools, and then choose Internet Options.
  • After that window opens, you will need to click on the General tab, and then locate Delete files and then click Yes.
  • After that click that button again and then put a check mark in box, and then click OK.
  • Next, you will click on – delete cookies, and then click OK, followed delete history and then click ok/yes.
  • After that click the OK button at the bottom once you're done.

Regards,

Carl
