Hi,

Many users have well-known that IE5 may create a confusing, unsuitable and completely scary error message. The error message is:

Error:

Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site Operation aborted

Need a solution. What should I do?

Thanks.

Workaround 1

To work around this problem, write script blocks that modify only closed containers or that modify only the script's immediate container element. To do this, you can use a placeholder to close the target container or you can move the script block into the container that you want to modify.

Hi,

You have to disable prevents scripts option. Please follow the instructions that I have given.

Open Internet Explorer 7. Then go to Internet Option after clicking the Tools menu.

Click the Security tab and go to Scripting section.

Then disable the prevents scripts.

Make sure that when you go to other site in that zone please reset the scripting setting.

Reason of this issue is explained more in this Microsoft support site.

Note : This issue has been fixed in Internet Explorer 8. So you can upgrade to new version of IE 8. This is the easiest way to solve the problem.
