Hi there,

I downloaded the updates for my Wireless for Bluetooth driver and after I uninstalled the older version this error appeared when I tried to install the new one. I think I broke something so can anyone help me please to fix this error ? What I did wrong ?

Thank you !

Willie,

When you update windows drivers it is better to install the new one over the older one. If the driver is from the same manufacturer, there will be no issue with this.

To try to fix this problem I suggest you perform a System Restore on your computer. System Restores is a windows tool that lets you go back in time to a previous date before the issue happened. There is no damage or change to your data, just the  software changes will be deleted. In this case, you are going to look for a restoration point dated before you did the uninstallation of the old driver.

System Restore is under System Tools, under Accessories, under All Programs. You will choose on the System Restore screen "restore my computer to an earlier time", click on next, and then choose a date before the changes. The date should be in BOLD. Your computer will perform the process and restart by itself. You will get a success message.

If everything is ok, now you can install the new driver you need.

Hope this helps
