Installation Problems of Coldfusion Server in Windows 7

I have been experiencing glitches in Coldfusion which leads me to reinstalling it. After that,  the Apache seems to work, but when I tried to install Coldfusion 9 64bit,  it shows the error:

"Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or mis-configuration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the sever administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log."

I have been troubleshooting it using the JRun Management Console.  Everything seems to be fine. Am I missing something?

Hi!

Yes!  Your computer 64 bit is not supported as the internal server error stated.  Try 32 bit in your computer. If you use 32 bit in your PC, then you may be confused to have problems.  One  reason is that your installed software was registered  to your  processor, Windows and internal system.

It might also be that your original exe file was attacked by active virus. Scan it first. Uninstall the program. Restart the PC.  Install again the software you want to use.

Upgrade the level of your PC. I'm pretty sure that Internal Windows operating file will not be missing.

Thanks.

Most probably you are using third party firewall software. You need to check in rules of that firewall did it blocked Apache server. If you are not having third party firewall software, check Window’s default firewall policies, to see did it blocked Apache server.
