Hello,

I have Adobe AIR installed and set on my Windows Vista machine. It was working fine on my machine before. One day there was this pop up which said there is a latest update, which I went ahead and installed.

But from the time I update it I am not able to view any files. I keep getting that some installation files are missing. I had a working application on my system.

This installation of this application is damaged

Adobe AIR

This installation of this application is damaged. Try

re-installing or contacting the publisher for

assistance.

                                                                             OK

I have tried reinstalling the software but I still get the same error message. I tried downloading some helper application, and when trying to view comes up with the same error message.

Hi Kevin,

This error occurs because you have an older or beta version previously installed in your computer and you have update AIR and Adobe Help application at the same time. I would like to inform you that Adobe AIR has its own installation and uninstallation procedures, while Adobe Help application updates are independent.

You must uninstall Adobe Help, through ADD/REMOVE programs (Control Panel then select ADD/REMOVE Programs). Delete all directories, then download and install Adobe Air file.
