As you are asking to install Windows 8 developer preview, I guess you have already downloaded it. If  you haven’t just go to Microsoft website and download it as ISO image. To install you require an USB drive with minimum of 4GB available. Windows 8 developer preview and Windows 7 USB tool. Now format the USB stick by FAT32 system then run windows 7 USB tool and select Window's8 ISO as your source.

Then copy it and hence it will be drive bootable.

Now set you USB to highest boot priority in BIOS setting of your computer and restart.

Your installation should restart automatically.

Hi there ,

It seems you are having trouble with the installation of windows 8 developers preview.

Before that let me tell you that windows 8 consumers preview is available and its more stable than the windows 8 developers preview You better download that from the Microsoft website and then follow my steps.

1. Download any USB boot disk creation tools if you don't have any .

2. Extract the windows 8 developers preview .iso file using WinRAR or any other stuff and use the USB boot disk tool to create a bootable pendirve.

3. Restart the PC and then plug in the USB boot drive and then press F10 (if you have Intel motherboard)  or otherwise it will indicate a button for selecting boot options then press that key

4. Choose this pendrive and windows 8 will boot from it and then follow the steps to successfully install.
