I’m not sure if this is a compatibility issue because TeamViewer supports your current version of Windows. This application can be installed on a computer that is running on Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 98 SE, Windows Millennium, Windows 2000, Windows NT, Windows 2003, Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7.

Check again the settings if they are all appropriate. If there is no wrong with its current settings, try uninstalling it and then install it back to fix any corrupted files and to restore its settings back to default including some that you might have customized.

You may also try upgrading your current version to TeamViewer 7.0.12142 which can be downloaded at https://teamviewer.en.softonic.com/.

Hello,

I believe the possible cause of this error is that you might have upgraded the application files and you are enabling the upgraded installation without allowing the first reboot of the system.

I recommend that you try to reboot on one of the system and see if the problem still continues.

I hope the information provided serves to your cause.

Hi.

This is an known bug in new version of Teamviewer. To resolve this issue you will have to go into Windows registry. Go to Start menu, select run and type in regedit. When Windows registry editor opens search HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServices<ServiceName>ImagePath. ImagePath is entry that contains the path to executable binary so in your case it looks like this HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesteamviewer. In right pane click ImagePath and in Value data box add quotations marks around complete path.

Click OK and exit registry editor.
