Resources in computer language are both real and virtual components of a computer system such as RAM size, Hard disk space, CPU speed, Operating system, Networking Devices, Graphics adapter, Resolution of Monitor, Intensity of  speaker etc.

These resources should be managed in all platforms of computer. The important points under resource management :

• The system should be kept highly flexible to manage multitasking.

 

• The maximum level of security should be provided to data.

 

• The application will be password protected

 

• Different types of user should have different types of privileges.

 

• User Authentication should be established.

 

• To update all the components every year.    

 

I hope this is enough for resource management for any type of computer system.
