I have installed InDesign Program in my Mac Operating System but an error occurred when I tried to open this application saying “Cannot open “ivana_Bad_File.indd”. How can I remove this error? I have tried to fix this problem by reinstalling this application. Your cooperation would be really appreciated.

You are not the only one who experienced this error. This issue has already been brought to the Adobe community website back in 2012 when users started to experience this error code 4 in Adobe InDesign. The community staff didn’t actually have a solution on this but users found a workaround. Since you also have this issue, try restarting the program.
Exit Adobe InDesign, launch it again, and then open the file. If it doesn’t work, try closing Adobe InDesign, log off, and then restart your computer. Log in then start Adobe InDesign and open the INDD file or the InDesign document. This worked for some users. If it doesn’t in your case, close Adobe InDesign and log off from your account but don’t reboot your computer.
After logging off, log back in, open Adobe InDesign then load the affected file. See if this works. Here is another workaround. Exit Adobe InDesign, go to “~/library/caches/” then delete the folder named Adobe InDesign. The folder will be re-created the next time you start Adobe InDesign.
