Importing PDF File with Two Hatches

I am using PC with Windows 7 Professional 64-bit and 8GB RAM. When I am importing a PDF file with 2 hatches which contains simple architectural drawing, it is not getting done. Other PDF files which have made with PDF995 are making no problems. Those files are simple small hatches and files with 11×17 with short details. The drawings are made with the ‘TurboCAD’ and created PDF. I am not in a position to check with other software. It keeps crashing when I draw x5 after the dialogue box for text options and when I am clicking on OK for substituting the font it will stop working. But after removing the hatch before creating the PDF, all are working properly. Please help me to get out of this problem. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

First of all please note PDF995 acts as a printer driver for TurboCAD. This makes the hatch pattern to be taken as individual lines by the application, and you receive the error.

So what happens is that when it tries to read / import the drawing x5 pattern it does not sense the hatch shapes rather it sees some shapes and hundreds / thousands of individual lines.

There is no intermediate way for the pdf to understand that these lines represent hatch shapes instead of hundreds of lines.

Now as you yourself mentioned that when you remove the hatches before creating the pdf it works fine, SO what I suggest is that you instead of creating the hatches, simply create an unfilled shape as exactly the hatch area and then send to the pdf995, and it should work.
