I’m curious to grab some knowledge about the Group Policy in Server 2008 R2.
Hello. In windows server 2008 R2’s domain properties, there is no group policy screen. GPMC (Group Policy Management Console) can be used because it is the standard tool for managing the group policy. Follow the given steps to open the group policy management editor (server 2008):
- Firstly, Go through the “Accessories” in the “All Programs” via “Start Menu.” Select Command Prompt and then “Run as administrator.”
- Then, Type there “ServerManagerCmd -install gpmc” in the Command Prompt. Now the installation of Group Policy Management Console will take place.
- In last, go back to the Accessories. Select “Run”, type “gpmc.msc” in the box and then click “Ok”.
