There are two ways to install the IIS FTP on your computer.

IIS for Windows Server R2

  1. Go to the Server Manager.
  2. Expand the Roles column.
  3. Click Web server.
  4. Click on ‘Add Roles and Services.’
  5. Select the FTP service.
  6. Confirm the installation and click ‘install.’

IIS for Windows 7

  1. Go to the Control Panel.
  2. Turn off the Windows Feature.
  3. Expand the ‘Internet Information Services’ column.
  4. Select FTP service and click ‘install.’
