In related to your question, How to remove recently open applications? So in ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) you must go to it

Task manager. Some Android phones has a shortcut of Task Manager in the lower part like Sharp Smart Phone. I think in

Samsung they have that function, so when you are there (Task Manager), it has a button in the upper part named CLEAR ALL.
