At this point, I am aware that, IBM has lately pronounced a great deal around examining as well as the excellence manufacturing. In truth, on every occasion that there is a conversation, regarding innovative traits or portals, following is frequent conversation around the massive endeavor of analysis.

When in all actuality, there are various equipment that appear not to be analyzed whatsoever. For instance, IBM distorted the When Documents are being Pasted Agent in the Domino Directory (the encryption is clearly incorrect). Even the slightest rudimentary checking would’ve exposed that the encryption modification was unsuccessful (but is effortless to repair).

Now in return to Domino Designer, this portion of software has intensely developed ever since 8.0 but there is still system failure and infuriating conduct that truly makes me livid. How can I avoid the system failures and what-nots?

Thank you for your time.

Hi Lisa,

Java.lang.illegalargumentexception error happens when you are running the generate config command on .db mssql option.  IBM content manager does not support Microsoft SQL content . Now, use either one of this method to generate the files.

1.  Create each task individually using generate config command

  • -task (task_type) option
  • -taskfile(task_type_name ) option

2.  Create the profile by using DB2 or Oracle database option then recreate the configibmcm.xml file and then

  • delete the configdspacedb.xml file
  • generate the database by specifying xml. (-db mssql) option and the (-taskconfigbspacedb) option
