When transferring a file is it alright to use bluetooth? I want this album batch file of mine to be transferred to another computer using a bluetooth device, the file size was 52mb. Will it take so long to that? Help me experts or give me another solution instead of bluetooth.

Hi,

It is alright to use Bluetooth for file transferring. The speed depends on the Bluetooth device speed. But normally Bluetooth has considerable data transferring speed. Therefore it’s ok to use Bluetooth. It will take maximum 15 -20 minutes (depend on the device’s Bluetooth version). But if your phone supports WiFi, use WiFi. It is faster than Bluetooth.

Hello Laurel Shifflett,

The time it would take to transfer a 52 MB file via Bluetooth depends on the version of your Bluetooth device. If you have:

V1.2, it will take about an hour,

V2, will take about half an hour,

And if you have the latest V3 then the transfer will be completed in a matter of seconds.

An alternative to Bluetooth is WiFi, I will suggest you a software that will allow transferring files via WiFi, its name is Dukto and the download link is: http://www.msec.it/blog/?page_id=11

Install this software on both the computers and open it, then just drag and drop the file on it, it will be transferred.
