I have files in my computer contain a lot of data. I tried recently to delete some of them but there is a problem that some I could delete and another I couldn’t. I tried to use unlocker but problem is the same. So please anyone tell me what is the problem and how to fix it.
Try deltree. Here's the syntax how.
Syntax
Deletes a directory and all the subdirectories and files in it.
To delete one or more files and directories: DELTREE [/Y] [drive:]path [[drive:]path[…]]
|
/Y |
Suppresses prompting to confirm you want to delete the subdirectory. |
|
[drive:]path |
Specifies the name of the directory you want to delete. |
Note: Use DELTREE cautiously. Every file and subdirectory within the specified directory will be deleted. Once deleted, you cannot recover the information.

deltree c:fake010
Deletes the fake010 directory and everything in it.
Dear, as you discussed here that sometime you want to delete some files due to remove unnecessary files from your hard drive to keep out some space. So I would like to tell you that these files are not those are locked by some programs or not from the wrong permissions, but these are those type of files and the directories which having some illegal names of windows. So please try to delete these files by changing their name mean rename them. You can get a detailed information regarding your problem from the link. if you are facing this problem than don't b tense its not a complicated problem this problem occurs if the folder contains virus and you want to delete this folder and it will display message that this file is using by some one else etc or like that so solution for this problem is that 1) format your drive not by right click on it and format it but you can format it from windows initial setup 2) second solution is that install registered version of anti virus and scan all the drives of your system 3) and must install USB security to secure your system from virus and other damages
Hi dear, you mentioned here a problem and that problem is the cause of the corrupted files of the windows now the question is how to resolve that issue so my suggestion for you is that you can firstly install the software of antivirus and that one should be a genuine one and then scan all of your computer files and then check again these files for deleting if again the same problem happens it means there is a severe problem and that should be solved only by removing the current version of your windows and then again install a new copy of windows.
