I want the files to be retained

Hello Friends,

I am a student, pursuing electronics. I take study materials from various web sites and blogs in the form of e books. I now want to store them in my computer as a single folder.

My query is that when my system crashes, I want the files to be retained. I hence want an expert to clarify my query and assist me what to do.

Hi James,

Yes, it could be retrieve. But It will cost time and money if you want to retrieve those files from crashed system. Its very technical if you want to do it yourself. Before it happens, the most practical way is to have back-ups. Back-up regularly to protect files. Create copies and then put in CD-ROMs, flash drive or external hard drives. Or make hard copies, print then. In this way you'll have soft and hard copies.
