I will suggest that you scan the documents in PDF and then you can use the PDF Converter Enterprise 7 application to combine multiple types of the scanned file by the use of the SharePoint by the use of a simple drag and drop procedure.
This process will also offer you with professional scanning services, and enable you to automatically find and mark any content from the document. It also offers an easy way when you need to port the scanned papers to the SharePoint library and therefore I will advise that you try it.

Since your main frame of task is to combine multiple scanner types then I suggest you use Microsoft Office tools which allow you to add multiple scanned file types into one word file. Then you can create a PDF from it if you want using Adobe Acrobat. To combine multiple scanned types first click the “insert” option and find the “Object” option and select “object”. A file type menu appears. Select the scanned file type (extension). Then browse through the files as it allows you to find the scanned file you want to add. Once you add it you can run the similar process for other types.
