I received an error message while installing Maya 2012 on my machine. It failed to find a file indicating the error code 1305. I tried several ways to get a remedy of this problem. The program is urgently required for me. Have you any idea of the error message?

What you are getting could be a reading problem with your media, and if that is the case you can resolve the issue by simply copying it in its entirety to a folder on your local hard drive and after that install the setup from there instead. You will need to ensure that you have local admin rights as well as ensure that your anti-virus is temporarily disabled during the install.

The issue occurs because your CD/DVD drives couldn’t read the files on your disk that is scratched or dirty during installation. So you must clean the disk and try again, and if doesn’t help, copy the contents to a folder on your local drive and run the setup file from that folder.
