The first thing you gonna do is you have to put on a loud speaker or use handset free or try it with headset. If the problem is accidentally spilled by water you have to turn it off get the battery out from it wait for a minute till its dry up. Put the battery back and turn it on and check it again if its working again. After doing it and if still not working because I-phone is so sensitive. The best thing you have to do is go to your nearest I-phone shop so that they will fix it for you. And ask them what the problem is, and how to prevent it and for you to be aware.

Hello Anne,

This is a very common problem with most of the phones. I have normally gotten out such situations by drying exterior of the phone completely and then leaving it to soak in sun for an hour or two. Don't forget to turn off the phone before you do it. It evaporates all the humidity and prevents any possible damage caused by it. Another way i have found on Apple's forum is by putting it in air-tight rice cooker. Sounds a little weird but as long as it works, who cares ? You can read complete solution here.

I hope that was helpful.

Abe.

Thanks Rj_mejia1973. I did exactly what you said and removed the battery and let the phone dried up. I waited about a day, just to be sure and turned the phone on. I tried using the loudspeaker and it's working just fine. Many thanks!

Thank you TechyV!
