Hello guys.  I just installed the TeamViewer app on my Android for transferring files remotely on my Windows 7 desktop.  My Android could not detect the network.  Where can I find the TeamViewer VPN driver for Android update?  I have the Samsung Galaxy SIII with Android OS Jelly Bean.

Hi Elsietbrown,

In order to connect to the team viewer, identify first the password or secret code given by team viewer to you before you establish the connection, the host must be the Desktop. You must enter the secret code on the android phone before the connection, after which, you can browse the files of your Desktop from your android phone, you can paste the file from your android phone to your Desktop.

When you install the Android version of TeamViewer on your phone, along with it is the VPN component of the app. Since TeamViewer is an application that requires internet connection to work, make sure your phone can connect to the internet before using the app. If your phone can’t connect to the internet, you cannot use TeamViewer.

If you are using a Wi-Fi router but your phone can’t connect to the internet, try resetting the router. If your Wi-Fi router has a power button, press it to turn it off then unplug it from the power for about 10 to 20 seconds. Press any button on the router to drain any leftover power or to power cycle.

After this, plug the router back to the power and turn it on. When the router is ready, connect your phone to your Wi-Fi network then see if you can connect to the internet. Also, make sure you are not too far from the router because distance can affect your connection. If you are not using the latest version, download the latest TeamViewer for Remote Control.

It requires Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and higher.
