I heard about a very good tool to do that but before I purchase it I want to know which version of synchpst for outlook I can use to sync PC at work with my PC at home?

So there are only two versions of SYNCPST available, the Home Edition and the Professional Edition. Of course the Professional Edition costs a lot because it has more features compared to the Home one.
Based on your post, the reason why you need this is just to sync your PST files so I would recommend for you to get the Home version.
This only costs you half the price of the Professional Edition.
