Hi guys.

Why are some of the web pages that I visit have a hard time loading? I use Mozilla Firefox20.0.1. Is there a Firefox http network monitor that I could use to monitor the connecting and receiving time? Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Dudley Achan,

I would recommend to use your own command prompt codes in order to monitor the network traffic of a certain website.

To do this, click start > key in the run 'CMD' and press enter if you see Command Prompt application, after which, key in 'ping <website here> -t' and press enter, it will monitor the network activity with regards to your website that you want to access, the logic here is, if the MS value is high, the network traffic is trying hard to itself to go on the website, usually a spike on this thing may result you to sudden view of the complete website and complete access, however, if you saw long spikes of MS values, the traffic is hard to get an access of the website.

Hey there Dudley, have you also tried comparing two browsers like running your Mozilla and chrome with the same website? There might also be other factors to consider besides your browser. You might also be considering your internet service provider and also your RAM specs as well as your operating system.

Hi Dudley,

You can try clearing your browser history and cookies on your Mozilla Firefox.

1) Click the orange Firefox button at the upper left corner.

2) Then select Options

3) A dialog box will appear. At the main tab, select Advanced and then select Network at the lower tab. Click the "Clear Now" button at Cached Web Content.

If loading still very slow, you have to contact your internet service provider since your concern can be an internet issue.
