I just reformatted my old Compaq C302 laptop that has a 1 GB RAM and 80 GB HDD. I could not find my Broadcom Wireless Network Driver. Where can I find a free and easy wireless net driver for my laptop? Any help would be much appreciated.

However, you can visit this website where drivers for many other Compaq models are available or you can try another driver at this website.
Try installing some of these drivers that will probably work for you.
Finding the drivers for Compact C302 might be very difficult if available at all on the internet. One of the best things which I do at times and it works for me is to download a universal Driver Pack and if you are using Windows just go to the my computer icon and right click on it, select properties and the click on materials. Click on update drivers and choose the option to manually select driver location that way you can the select the location of the universal drivers in your computer and then the computer will install missing drivers automatically.
