The Error (-2147023897) is an Automation error that performs an Inpage operation that appears when you try to activate the QuoteWerks software, it is generally not related to the operating system or the installed software (QuoteWerks), but it is generated by a hardware or connection error.

A solution is available via a Microsoft Help and Support Knowledge based article on the following link

I hope this was helpful.

Kind regards.

Since one feature of QuoteWerks is a real time web enabled content, it is possible that this is a network connection issue.

You should see if your system is synchronized with the network/web (eg. Time synchronization, content, etc.)

Also check your network device if it works properly, as hardware issues is indicated as one of the possible problems for this error.

If you are using QuoteWerks and it is not working properly, check the system requirements and verify that your computer meets those requirements. QuoteWerks supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8.x. It requires at least 233 MHz Intel Pentium or faster processor, 256 MB RAM, 150 MB free space, and 1024 x 768 minimum screen resolution.

If there’s no problem in this part, try to uninstall and reinstall. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install. Once installed, start Revo then select QuoteWerks among the applications and click “Uninstall”. Follow the normal uninstall process. When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds.

This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, exit Revo then install QuoteWerks back. If the problem continues, go to the QuoteWerks Home page and download the free trial. For the pricing, go to QuoteWerks Pricing to learn what plan is best for you.
