Hi,

I have a BlackBerry phone that is GPRS and 3G capable. My problem is, when I am using it on calls for less than two hours, it will disconnect with an error that says, "Call Failed". I am under T-Mobile and it always end a call with GPRS connection on top of the screen. It seems that my phone does not allow me to do things at the same time as it always disconnect. Any ideas about my problem?

Thanks.

Hi,

As many users, you have faced a very frequent problem in blackberry phone which can be solved as follows :

1) First solution :

Your phone has suffered from water damage or your battery is almost dead. So you have to take your phone to blackberry repair center.

2) Second solution :

You may have a network issue. First, upgrade your phone to OS 6.0. Then disable wifi and 3G while making a call. This will solve the problem.

Hi Christopher,

There are 2 factors that could affect the drop of your calls after 2 hours. It could be the unit itself or the network provider that you are using for your blackberry unit. There are some of Blackberry Units that were released on the market that have issues such as there were no bbms or the battery gets drained really fast. What you can do is have your phone checked by a professional technician.

It is best that you bring it to a blackberry center. Now the 2nd consideration of the cause of the issue would be your network provider. There are network providers that have limits on voice calls. It could be that your provider has a limit of 2-hour call only. You need to check with your network provider regarding this matter.

Hope this helps.
