I have got Missing Sync on a Sprint Palm Pre. Is there a way to edit Data Files off-line as in Mac?
Please add notes or memos with access to Unix/WebOS?
I can easily load a file into PDF viewer but is there a way that I can edit files that are used by APPLICATIONS as memos itself?
For what I know about the Sprint Palm Pre backup is that its backup will be composed of browser cookies, which when you restart the systems for example, in case you had stored your username and password on an email site that is web-based then you will be able to continue with the access to the site without needing to log in again.
Backup in the application will no longer save online account passwords. In case you do a partial or full erase or maybe buy a replacement phone, when you have signed in to your Palm profile, you will be requested to enter the password for each of your online accounts. You may skip that step and choose to open an application that will sync with the accounts Calendar, Contacts, and Email.
