Hello All,

I bought a desktop for my home. I want to chat on webcam with my friends. As I don’t have any web cam for me, I borrowed one from my friend. It asked to install drivers from the internet. When downloaded and installed, I got an error that the device cannot be found.

Please fix this error so that I can use my web cam.

Hi,

Please check if you have installed the right drivers. For this please search the drivers from Google by typing the model name in the search bar and install the drivers again. I hope this will work because it is very seldom to have incompatible webcams. 

Secondly right click on 'My Computer' and then 'Properties'. Go to the 'Device Manager' and check if you can find 'Imaging Devices' or 'Webcam & Scanner'. Click to collapse, if you find the color yellow on the webcam button. Double click it and click the button 'Update Drivers'.
