Hello computer experts,
While I was at home installing my new computer, after I formatted my computer and install all necessary application, I tested running flex builder an error message appeared on my screen, that said flex builder cannot locate adobe flash player or the version is not correct.
Flash Player not Found
Flex Builder cannot locate the required version of Flash Player, You might
need to install Flash Player 9 or reinstall Flex Builder.
I check on the installed adobe flash player its version 9, I am now wondering why flex builder cannot detect flash player, I restated my computer to have a fresh start, I tried again running flex builder, but same error message appeared on my scree, I remove flash player and install it again, but same error message was displayed, please help me find solution to my problem,

I encountered a problem while using flex builder
As we know that there are 2 kinds of Flash Player that are:
-
Adobe Flash Player- Active X: supporting for Internet Explorer.
-
Adobe Flash Player- Plugin: supporting for Firefox, Opera, Safari, etc.
I think the problem is because Flex Builder is configured to use a browser which is not installed to use Flash Player. For example: You have installed Flash Player for Firefox browser. However, Flex Builder is configured to use Internet Explorer as it's Web Browser.
I suggest you to verify the Flash Player that is installed in your machine and the Web Browser that is configured to use in Flex Builder.
You can check the type of Flash Player from 'Add and Remove Programs' from Control Panel. You can also try to change Web Browser by following the below steps:
1. Select Window > Preferences from Flex Builder application.
2. From the Preferences tree, select General > Web Browser.
3. Change to another Web Browser which has been installed Flash Player.
