Hi there,

I have been recently assigned by our company to decompile some dos apps that were developme around 17 years ago for legacy purposes.

Decompiling can be a very hard work, both mentally and physically. Therefore I want to know is there some sort of dos app decompiler which makes it easier?

Thank you.

Hello

I found application which decompiles binary files. This application is made under Unix so you should install one of Unix distributions in order to use this. You can find download link at bottom of this page: http://itee.uq.edu.au/~cristina/dcc.html

You can find couple tutorials on above link where you can understand how this application works and how it produce source code out of your binary application.

I hope I helped. Regards.
