I am unable to run my SAP ABAP module in my Laptop. Though my system is updated as per the requirement of and I am using 4 GB RAM, Intel P3 etc. I have downloaded the practice system from the SCN website in Seagate Hard Disk and use VMware to run it. But when I am trying to connect it with my Laptop it is getting stuck and going nowhere. My VMware is also of latest version, but still no success. Hello Joseph, even though you comply with systems requirements, chances are they might still be not gonna run. As a suggestion, first do ensure that no Domain Name service configured in your infrastructure. Then try to input this in your winntsystem32driversetchosts file or try to rectify an existing line as such. For example, do input <IP Address of your server> then <Hostname> SAPTRANSHOST and afterwards do check this one dir\SAPTRANHOSTsapmnttrans As soon as you rectify these parameters check that user SAPService<SID> has a full write permission on its transport directory. Then try again to restart SAP through the new SAPMMC and likewise don’t forget to re-start the Service SAP<SAID> then proceed with the installation.
