Washington, seeking an emergency order that would block imports of HTC's newest phones and tablet computers.

Display:
IPhone 4S has a 3.5” Retina display while the HTC One S has a 4.3” AMOLED display. IPhone 4S has of course good colors because of its high pixel density compared to HTC’s lower pixel density but it’s really nothing you would notice on the screen unless you will really look for it.
Functionality and Interface:
I can say that HTC has an edge on this because of its homescreen widgets. They are just one press away in the homescreen. You don’t have to search for it in the control panel or setting just to activate or deactivate features such as WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS & Brightness.
Connectivity:
HTC supports 42Mbps HSDPA while iPhone 4S has a 21Mbps radio. But the speed doesn’t really matter because in reality, 4G networks can hardly deliver 1/4 of those speeds.
Camera:
Both of them have an 8 MP camera so there’s not much difference in this feature.
