I'm new to twitter. I see my friends on twitter posting pictures via mobile. How do I do that? I am using a Nokia phone. Do they use apps like iPhones?

This worked for me. I have a Nokia E63 Smartphone and this is the application that I have used when I want to post pictures on my twitter account using my phone.

There is a free application for Nokia Smartphones to able to post pictures on Twitter.

Go to Nokia Store

On the search engine type in Twitter photo Uploader, download it on your phone

This is the easiest way to share photos on Twitter.

When you are downloading you can upload directly from the Camera or the Photos Gallery. Simply select Send – > Upload – > Twitter. 1-click upload also supported.

No need to create an account, just sign-in with your Twitter account.

This FREE version uploads your photos to and posts a link in Twitter.

Before you can post your pictures to Twitter, you must have a Twitter account first. If you don’t have a Twitter account yet, I’m not sure if the Twitter app you install on your phone allows you to create an account since I haven’t used one yet because I always use Twitter on a web browser on a PC.

If you are using a Nokia phone that doesn’t support Android apps, try installing the Java version of the Twitter app. Go to Twitter for Java to download the Java edition of the Twitter app. The download is a JAD file used to download the actual Java program. Once downloaded, don’t disconnect your phone from the internet.

Open the Twitter JAD file to download and install the Java app of Twitter. Once the Twitter JAR file has been downloaded, it will be automatically installed on your phone. Once installed, start the app and log in to your Twitter account. And that’s it. Start posting your tweets as well as tweet your photos.

The photos you tweet are uploaded to your account which other tweeps can check and view when they visit your Twitter profile. Tweeps or tweep is the term used to refer to Twitter users.
